Kartwheels' mission is to develop an empowering and safe learning environment for physically, emotionally, and developmentally challenged children
and adolescents. We do this through swimming, playing sports, and other athletic and social activities. We draw from all cultures, backgrounds, and
abilities. Kartwheels' philosophy is simple; we encourage all involved with the program to have a fun and supportive learning experience in a warm and nurturing environment. We guide participants through challenging and rewarding experiences in self-confidence and exploration. The rewards come in achieving goals set by participants for themselves and the inherent rewards of successfully communicating and interacting with one another.
